GestureTek Inc., along with Epson a leading supplier of value added Point of Sale (POS) solutions, created a unique dynamic, interactive floor display for Virgin MegaStores that enhances the creative shopping experience for customers, brings album art to life and directs customers to specific locations within the store.  GestureTek’s eye-catching Ground FX visual display system delivers dazzling 3-D special effects and multi-media content that gives any retailer a futuristic, cutting-edge brand image. 

Virgin MegaStores uses GestureTek’s Ground FX system in two locations - Times Square in New York City and Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles. The Times Square installation is on level B2 and is being used to draw customers onto that level.  The Hollywood installation is located at the main entrance and is used to draw people into the store.  Both systems have directional sound added so that people can hear audio that has been specially created to support the multi-media content.  Both systems have an image size of 5’ x 7’ and are being used for music advertising.
