A highlight of the visitors' center is a state-of-the-art Digital Dig exhibit, which allows visitors to experience how archaeologists carefully sift through soil and time to find clues to the past at this remarkably undisturbed site. Marion Edmonds The exhibit was the centerpiece of our Pre-All-Star festivities and GestureTek's Shut-Out game was one of the centerpieces of the exhibit. This interactive game helped to position the National Hockey League as a cutting-edge sports organization and was a hit with our fans. From a maintenance perspective, our exhibit staff also appreciate that it is self-starting when power is applied and has no moving parts to wear out. The GestureXtreme Game System is performing very well and acts as an excellent tool to generate increased traffic. It realized a return of nearly 50% in our opening few months and I look forward to soon operating a pure profit earner. From over 75 machines in our venue, GestureXtreme has consistently remained in our top ten earners, about which I am delighted. We at Cybermind would like to thank you and all your staff for contributing to the Cybermind Virtual Reality Centre at the CN Tower. Cyber Jam and the GestureXtreme system (formerly VIVID) are what we would consider a success in our center. In August of this year its sales were calculated to make up 10% of total sales. We are also pleased with the success of our Shut Out rental program, which has generated substantial revenue within its first fiscal year...GestureTek has worked well with the Hockey Hall of Fame in the development projects…making their relationship with the Hockey Hall of Fame both productive and successful…a positive impact on our guests’ enjoyment. People who flocked to our store loved the GestureXtreme Virtual Reality platform. It appealed to all ages, from two year olds in the arms of their parents to eight year olds who just wanted to try Virtual Reality. High school boys loved to see themselves in the virtual ocean and groups of them would crowd around the system, cheering each other on. During our high season of July and August, Reality Bytes was open 13 hours each day and we averaged $360 of income per day with your virtual gaming system. The GestureXtreme system is truly a crowd pleaser. The GestureXtreme system is a resounding success. We have three Virtual Reality systems, featuring 11 true virtual reality experiences, and another VR-capable system with five additional experiences. Forty per cent of first-timers who come into our entertainment center end up playing one or more GestureXtreme games. GestureXtreme has never disappointed the public or us. It mesmerizes and excites customers, resulting in an enjoyable experience for all. |
