The first V.V.T. was installed recently at Te Papa, New Zealand's newly opened national museum (Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tangarewa) located in Wellington, New Zealand. Two V.V.T. systems were installed in 6 player configurations, allowing up to 12 people to interact simultaneously. The V.V.T. is part of a three-part ride experience called Future Rush. Future Rush begins with a laser light show called the TimeSkip and ends with a 12-person motion-capsule ride. In between these is the 5 minute long Vivid Virtual Theater experience called Rima's House.

Meet Rima, the girl from the future. Rima wants to show you the kinds of things the future has to offer. Rima is a fully motion-capture driven pre-rendered animated character with integrated lip synch (like Dot from ReBoot) and acts as the animated host for Rima's House. Her role is that of both host and teacher; by performing the actions which the participants are expected to do in order to interact, Rima insures that first-time visitors will fully enjoy the experience.
