Canadian Press turned to GestureTek’s incredible interactive multi-touch table to ‘wow’ journalists at a recent Canadian Press Association gala event.  The table was loaded with dynamic multimedia video and images of the most significant news events during the past year.  Journalists were invited to explore the table’s content, using ‘Minority Report-style’ interactivity to peruse items of interest to them. Journalists were able to make menu selections by grabbing the icons with their hands, and then zoom and rotate on images by spreading their fingers and dragging their palms along the display surface.  “Multi-touch interactivity is a fun and intuitive way to interface with multi-media content and a natural fit in a journalistic setting,” said Vincent John Vincent, President and Co-Founder of GestureTek.
