August 2007 -- With condominium developments springing up on a seemingly weekly basis in the bustling Toronto real estate market, luxury lifestyle condo developer Concord Adex was looking for a rich interactive display solution that would inject the ‘wow-factor’ into its downtown Toronto sales office. As the creator of Toronto’s largest master-planned community, Concord was deserving of a cutting-edge experiential marketing innovation that would distinguish the company from its competitors.
GestureTek’s patented Illuminate Display gives Concord’s prospective buyers stunning simulated suite views. Images seem to be magically float in space as they are projected onto a colorless, floor-to-ceiling panel made of tempered glass, overlaid with a projection film.
Viewers get a bird’s eye view of the city from the suite they’re about to buy. To interact with the dynamic display, they simply gesture with their hand over one of the customized buttons. This gives them the ability to choose their preferred view from any floor and select any perspective, for a full 360 degree panoramic view.
For the interactive floor plan displays, GestureTek used six plasma screens with a touch overlay mounted into ornate marble columns to add to the room’s sleek and contemporary design. With the help of GestureTek, Concord has enabled prospective buyers to interact with floor plans in ways not possible with traditional displays, and to become immersed in their future home in a uniquely interactive way.
”There has been an excellent reaction to the interactive feel that GestureTek provided to the Concord Sales Centre” said Herman Ng, Assistant Manager, Project Sales & marketing. Both interactive tools helps so much in the sales process.
