Leading High-tech Manufacturer And Branding Agency Use Gesturetek WallFX Technology To Create A Show Stopping Interactive Wall Display

May 2008 –Liquid Agency, a top Silicon Valley-based branding group, worked with GestureTek on a custom interactive project for a worldwide leader in computer component manufacturing, located in Santa Clara, California.  This visionary high-tech firm operates a museum that showcases the company’s history.  The museum uses unique interactive ‘edutainment’ and ‘infotainment’ exhibits to enable attendees to explore and experiment with the company’s advanced technology and manufacturing up close.  Children and adults alike are invited to interact with the museum’s many captivating exhibits, offering a unique Silicon Valley experience.

To create this brand new installation designed to excite and intrigue both new and returning visitors, Liquid Agency turned to GestureTek’s WallFX, an interactive visual display system for vertical surfaces.

WallFX is a revolution in public space advertising and entertainment.  This system projects dynamic multi-media special effects, images and games onto virtually any wall.  Patented body tracking systems intelligently respond to movement near the display, enabling users to control dazzling digital content simply by moving their hands or body.

GestureTek worked with Liquid Agency to deploy a custom WallFX interactive display.  Using the concept of moving binary computer codes like in the opening sequence of the movie “The Matrix”, characters fall from the top of the screen like digital rain.  When viewers approach the screen their shadows collect numbers on their shoulders like raindrops.  When they step away from the screen, the binary ‘rain’ falls to the bottom of the screen in a spectacular effect.

“Visitors love the ‘Digital Rain’ installation that we created and enjoy being immersed in the experience,” said Kim Catanzaro, Sr. Project Manager, Liquid Agency.  “It is a fantastic blend of innovative digital design and technological ingenuity that truly personalizes the experience for visitors.”
